What you can record
Your day, on one page.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Water and sleep. Movement and exercise. How you feel about food and activity, a response to cravings, one adjustment for tomorrow and one thing that went well.
These are the daily fields in our paperback journal. The printable adapts their layout for home printing and adds a first-week recap. It does not reproduce the whole 112-page book.
Use the fields that suit you. No calorie target, prescribed menu or weight-loss outcome is built into this tool.

How to use a food journal without making it another chore
Begin with a description, not a judgement. A meal name, a rough time or a few words about your day can be enough. You do not have to fill every line for the page to be useful.
Pick a convenient moment to write. You might keep the page near your evening diary or add short notes after meals. The best format here is simply the one you choose to return to.
When you miss a day, continue on the next available page. Do not invent entries to fill the gap. At the end of the week, read your notes and ask what felt workable, what was inconvenient and what you would like to do differently.
The journal records your observations; it does not decide what you should eat or how much you should exercise. Leave any field blank that does not serve your purpose.
A few useful details
Is this the complete paperback?
No. It is a free 9-page printable companion with seven daily records, a short introduction and a new first-week recap. Its layout is adapted for home printing.
Do I need to provide my email?
No. The PDF is created locally in your browser. There is no mailing-list signup or entry upload on this page. Optional website analytics are used only with your consent; you can reject them and still use every tool.
Can I start in the middle of the week?
Yes. Both the printable and the paperback are undated, so you choose your own start date.
Is this a diet plan or a health recommendation?
No. It is a personal record-keeping tool, not medical advice, a prescribed diet or a promise of results. Tracking is optional. A qualified professional can advise whether this approach is suitable for your circumstances.
